Operating without moving parts, electricity or a regeneration cycle, membrane dryers dry compressed air by selectively separating water vapor through special polymer membrane fibers. Their maintenance-free design makes them the preferred choice for remote locations, field applications and low-flow lines.

Membrane technology works by passing water vapor molecules through the membrane wall while dry air continues along the line. Because it needs no electrical connection, regeneration air or periodic maintenance, it offers clear advantages for instrument air, field equipment and hard-to-reach locations.
As humid compressed air passes through the membrane fiber bundle, water vapor molecules diffuse out through the membrane wall while dry air continues along the line. Thanks to this passive separation principle, membrane dryers deliver continuous dry air at low operating cost.
